Garnett Shortt is a certified thermographer with five years experience in the inspection industry. Mr. Shortt worked for an electrical and HVAC company performing primarily commercial inspections in the early 90’s. Mr. Shortt is on the Performance of Buildings committee E06 for ASTM International, the most respected standards society in the building sciences industry. A graduate of economics from Liberty University, Mr. Shortt spent 8 years in the corporate world which included working in the World Trade Centre in New York. Mr. Shortt is the owner of Commonwealth Home Inspections, Inc., one of the most respected privately owned home inspection company in Virginia. While working keeps him busy, Mr. Shortt still finds time to be very active in his local church, play tennis, spend time with his son, daughter, and wife, and play the trumpet for fun. |
